The text, pattern, lines, photos, anti-counterfeiting and bar code designed on the original manuscript of cigarette packet design are processed by a series of technologies, such as electric parting, sheet making, plate making, plate drying and so on, and then made into printing plates suitable for different printing presses. Then, plate loading, inking, embossing, glazing and drying are carried out by printing presses, so that the ink will transfer the original content to the surface of the printing materials such as paper. The process of batch copy of the original will be completed, and the printed cigarette box that is faithful to the original color will be presented.

Cigarette packs are divided into soft packs and hard packs. The cigarette box production mainly uses four kinds of printing methods: offset printing, flexible plate printing, gravure printing and silk printing. The anti-counter-feiting technology of cigarette packs is the key to post-press processing, and is usually made by hot stamping machines.
